The Town of Fairfax Parks & Recreation Department is pleased to offer 9 weeks of fun and safe summer day camps to our community beginning in 2021!

These camps will be located at the Fairfax Community Park & Bike Path on Hunt Street and run from 8AM to 5PM every week day. Our rain location is the Fairfax Community Center (1210 Main Street) when needed due to inclement weather.

There will be continuous changes made to these camps, as there have been everywhere in day to day life due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Adjustments we make to our health and safety protocols will be made to meet or exceed recommendations made by the State of Vermont Department of Health. Please read our current COVID-19 protocols here.

Each camp week has a weekly theme and many activities focused around them! In addition to our special weekly activities, your kids will enjoy outdoor exploration, arts & crafts, swimming, biking, and playing games (some of which have never been played before!) with new and old friends. Each week has a staff to camper ratio of 1:7 with qualified and well trained staff members.

Your camper is expected to arrive with two healthy snacks and a lunch each day, as well as a good attitude!

Pricing and Cancellation

Pricing for each week of camp is set at $150 per camper. The full amount owed for each camp is due two weeks before the camp begins, however, we are requiring a $25 non-refundable deposit per week of camp that is due by April 1st or 30 days after your registration (whichever comes later).

We will contact you within 48 hours (or the Monday after your registration if on Friday afternoon or later) of your registration being received for payment information. If we do not receive your deposit on the timeline denoted in that email, your spot will be lost.

Cancellations: In the event of a cancellation before full payment, we are not able to refund your $25 weekly deposit.

If you notify us of cancellation within the two weeks leading up to camp after you have paid the full amount, we will not be able to issue a refund to you.

If you notify us of cancellation after paying the full amount for any of the weeks you’ve signed up for, but before two weeks prior to the start of the camp, we will refund the remaining $125 fee.

If a camp week is full, you may still register for it and be entered to our waitlist for the week. A $25 deposit will not be required until you have been moved into an open slot for that week.

If a week has filled up and we have not updated our site or form to reflect that information, we will reach out to you as soon as possible to let you know you’ve been added to the waitlist for that week.

We encourage you to sign up even if the camp is listed as full, as it will help us gauge enthusiasm for expanding our program further if possible this year.

Camp Themes

We take great care in creating engaging and fun activities revolving around these themes that appeal to all ages and gender identities. Week’s with the [FULL] tag have filled up, however, we have waiting lists for each camp week. Please feel free to register for the [FULL] camps anyway, and we will contact you as soon as a spot opens up – no registration fee or payment required until we can secure you a spot.
