Introducing a collaborative new event

For decades, friends who participated in the Sap Run, the Milk Run, and the Egg Run have compared times with one another.  The runner with the lowest combined time was the unofficial winner of the “Triple Crown,” a title that carries much pride!

This year the Fairfax Parks and Recreation Department is teaming up with the organizers of the St. Albans Sap Run and the Enosburg Falls Milk Run to present the Franklin County Triple Crown!

Franklin County is Vermont’s leader in agricultural output. All three of these races have roots that can be traced back to their community’s unique agricultural heritage.  One thing these communities have in common, however, is their interest in promoting healthy lifestyles! Working together with the organizers of each race, we have decided to make this title official and recognize those who complete all three races.  Participants in all three races will receive a commemorative t-shirt, and be entered for a grand prize drawing valued at $1,500!!!

In order to qualify you will need to register and participate in each of the three events in any capacity (as either a Runner or Walker). Commemorative t-shirts and the grand prize award ceremony will be held after the conclusion of the Fairfax Egg Run on August 4, 2018.

Signing up is easy

Register for the following races as you normally would (please register in advanced to make sure you receive a shirt!), and then you’re all set!
