We have a lot of events this week, many of them new!
Yesterday was a great night of yoga, tonight will follow up with karate starting at 6:00pm. Then this weekend we have tot open gym, will kick off our dog training series, and new individual singing lessons, along with our Winter Carnival!
Tot open gym is a great way for kids to run around together, make new friends, and allow parents to socialize during these cold months- definitely check it out!
The Winter Carnival has a lot of options for families all day long! Starting with outdoor enthusiasts we will have ice skating, snow shoeing, and hot chocolate down at the Community Park & Bike Path. Starting at 12:00pm we will have a Snowman Building Contest (pending snow) and signup here: https://forms.gle/5qeZQvc7gEz7uvSS9 . Also at 12:00pm we will be starting our campfire to help warm up those hands.
At the Community Center, for the families who prefer to stay indoors, we will have kids games and crafts available starting at 11:00am. Then, at 2:00pm we have a beautiful painting class scheduled with Nicole! Register for that here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/510827718457 . Space is limited, so don’t wait to sign up!
After painting class gets cleaned up, we will have a Potluck Trivia Night at the Community Center! This is the first of it’s kind with Fairfax Parks and Recreation, we’re hoping with enough interest we can make this a regular event in town, register your team here: https://forms.gle/XLQCmZaXBTtCcXvQ8
Finally, on Sunday we have our first individual singing lessons starting with Miss Andrea! Pre-registration is required.
