Ticket sales have ended! Please join us on Saturday (7/18) at the Recreation Park at 3:30PM to see the race!

The Ducky Race is an annual event that raises money for the Parks and Recreation Department!

This year’s Ducky Race will be held on July 18th, 2020 at 3:30PM. We do invite you to join us at the Community Park on Hunt Street to watch the event in person, but ask that you bring a mask along with you and attempt to maintain distance from other groups.

As with most of our fundraising efforts at the moment, the money raised will benefit our efforts to restore the Baptist Building on Main Street into a multi-generational community center & hub for community activities and to support new and creative opportunities for all residents!

You may purchase tickets to enter rubber ducks into the race from local businesses in Fairfax (one ticket = one rubber duck) or right here on this page!

On the day of the race all the rubber ducks will be dropped in the Lamoille River from the recreation park and the duck that makes it to the finish line first wins.

The prizes this year as as follows:

First Place: $300

Second Place: $200

Third Place: $100

In addition to the business selling the most Duck Race tickets receiving the coveted Golden Duck Trophy, the business that sells the winning duck will receive a $100 cash prize!

We look forward to your participation in this event to support the Parks and Recreation Department! Find the form to purchase tickets online at the top of this page!
