The Ducky Race is an annual event that raises money for the Parks and Recreation Department!

This year’s Ducky Race will be held on Saturday June 10th during our new Kids Day event. You can join us at the Community Park on Hunt Street to watch the event in person. We will have food trucks, activities, games, face paint, and so much more!

As with most of our fundraising efforts at the moment, the money raised will benefit our efforts to restore the Baptist Building on Main Street into a multi-generational community center & hub for community activities and to support new and creative opportunities for all residents!

You may purchase tickets (one ticket = one rubber duck) to enter rubber ducks into the race from local businesses. If you are a local business that would like to get in on the action (sell tickets) let us know! * Note the business who sells the most tickets will get their name on the coveted Duck Trophy!

Last years (2022) winners in selling the most tickets: Tinkers Auto.

You can also purchase your tickets right here online! ***Please note when you are purchasing tickets online, put your (Name), (email address), (phone number) in the note/description section so that we can put your information attached to a duck. If you do not get email confirmation in 3 days, please reach out to us via recreation@fairfax-vt.gov.
